The Feast Celebrated

The community of the Priests of the Sacred Heart celebrated the feast of Fr. Dehon. The feast was celebrated in a very worthy manner. The celebration was begun on Friday night with the beginning of monthly recollection guided by Fr. Mathew SCJ. And it was indeed very well prepared and done well. And on Saturday morning the novices came along with the Master to our community and we had our last talk of the recollection with them. And it was well accepted by all. And after that we had our Holy Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. Mathew. And concelebrated by all the three other fathers. And it was really heart touching sermon too. And we had our Lunch together and after a short time we left to see the construction of the house. And a round in our college campus. And after spending a short time there we came back to our house back. And had a glass of tea or water. And then words of thanks by novices and guitar played by Fr. Sebastian in praise to the Lord Jesus. And some music and clapping and a good time and a very special day’s celebration came to an end. Though it was simple it was meaningful and all felt at home with the celebration and all had only one word in the heart and lips and that is “Praise the Lord”.
