The Sacred Heart feast celebrated

Today (23-6-2006) the feast of the Sacred Heart was celebrated in a very worthy manner in our community here in Eluru. The celebrations were begun already on 22nd evening. In the evening we had our solemn evening prayer. And from 9 in the evening we had Vigil of Adoration. From 9 to 10 it was common Holy Adoration and then brothers and fathers were taking rotation. One hour each. And it was a very special spiritual preparation for the celebration of the feast. And in the morning we had our morning prayer and later the Benediction. And since it was not a holiday in the college we had to attend the classes in the college. And in the evening at 6 PM we our Holy Eucharist presided over by Fr. Beppe and concelebrated by Fr. Kus and Fr. Rathna Raj (The parish priest of the Cathedral). We had also some of our good friends to celebrate the feast with us. It was a solemn Eucharist. And then we had a grate dinner with all our guests and all the community members and it was a good celebration indeed. We will be having an area meeting celebration in the coming Sunday in Namburu – in our Novitiate. So we all thank the Lord for the Heart of His Son Jesus opened for all of us. And we thank the Lord that He has called all of us to share His Heart of Love with all others. May this celebration help us to understand His Heart more closely.
